Is Child-Resistant Packaging (CRP) Necessary?

Depending on your location, you may or may not need Child-Resistant Packaging. This is crucial and why we highly encourage our customers to do their research, especially given the frequent change in regulations. 

California specifically requires all cannabis related products to be CR, starting January 2020. Child-resistant packaging is anything designed to be significantly difficult for children under 5 years old to open or obtain a harmful amount of the substance within, over a reasonable amount of time.
